I've read that mold is harmful to many people because it produces VOCs and that explains why people with MCS also have problems with mold... if you can find a place to live without a basement, that's a good start. Many people with mold sensitivity come here to Colorado to get away from it.
I feel for you. Still don't have a diagnosis myself and stopped looking for it for the most part. have you ever lived in a dry climate? Mold affects a lot of people who don't know about it...

about me
I was on pace to become a writer/filmmaker when I was struck with a litany of non-specific symptoms that have eluded disgnoses for five years now. I am a shell of what I once was, and what I go through can hardly be described as living.
what's the toughest health situation you've faced?
The struggle for diagnosis while everything I am is deteriorating. And to add insult to injury, MCS has taken my ability to live what normal life I had left.
what have you learned the hard way?
Most doctors have no clue what they're talking about.
what are you still looking for?
At very least, diagnosis. Ideally, treatment or cure. But I'll settle for some awareness and understanding.
