  • Steve Ross, MA, is a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, now living in Tucson, AZ with his wife, Julie, who has severe Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). His interest and deep involvement with MCS and Environmental Illness (EI) stems from his wife's illness and the effects of his own exposures to pesticide and mold. Steve brings a background in mental health as well as his own personal experience with environmental illness to his work at Medicine.org. He also produces a regular email newsletter for the MCS community with readers around the country.

  • Roxanne Cheney, R.N. - Roxanne earned her B.S. in Nursing from Loyola University in Chicago. Later she obtained her Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and has certifications in Health Administration and Palliative Care. She worked for 35 years in the VA system, in a variety of roles including Manager of Primary Care and Case Coordinator for patients with chronic pain. Currently, she is very active as a patient advocate for the elderly and has written several articles for Idealistics of Southern California.
