On-Line Screening Tests for Depression

OK, so you feel bad. Will you spring back as usual, or does it feel like this time you're down for the count?

There are a number of on-line screening tests you can take to see if this is just a temporary set-back, or if you could R E A L L Y be depressed! You get the results right after taking each test.

Three such tests are available by following the link below this article:

Goldberg Depression Questionnaire, by Ivan Goldberg, M.D.
Online Depression Screening Test, by the New York University School of Medicine
Confidential Depression Screening Test, by the National Mental Health Association

The NY University test is the simplest one, with the NMHA test having just a couple of more questions. However, the Goldberg Depression Questionnaire is a more sophisticated instrument.

I'd take all three and compare the results.

And if these test results, as simple as they are, suggest you really are depressed, then no matter what anybody says, it's worth looking into some treatment. You deserve to feel better. Help is available, and drugs are probably not necessary.
