Treatment On-Line -- A Site for On-Line Psychological Support and Evaluation

Need some help but feel squeamish going to a shrink? Now there is an Internet answer that promises confidentiality and first rate information.

It is called Treatment Online and it claims to provide psychological support and evaluation in a totally confidential, individually customized, and user controlled experience. The evaluation tools focus on depression, Anxiety, and ADHD, but also cover many other commonly occurring psychological syndromes.

Treatment Online offers many services, including:

  • A comprehensive intake questionnaire about those factors in your life and your background which may be contributing to your present emotional distress.
  • Informational therapy about psychological syndromes relevant to you, based on the questionnaire.
  • Articles about relevant medical issues and concerns you may have.
  • Extensive feedback regarding drugs you may be taking and their possible adverse interactions.
  • A trained psychological professional to follow you as you enter an online community specifically designed to address your psychological issues.

A free, public blog called Anxiety, Addiction and Depression Treatments helps provide the current state of the art on many changing concepts within the field of Mental Health.

However, the Treatment On line Section is not free. Patients pay an annual fee for services. The amount of this fee is not easily discernible by reading the above links, nor by doing a brief self search.
