Testicular Cancer

In the United States, in 2005 there were 7.5 new marriages per 1,000 people, and 3.6 divorces per 1,000, a ratio which has existed for many individual years since the 1960s. For the past generation, there has been a slight decrease in the divorce rate, with those of college educated people being only 20%.

Divorce is still a big issue in America though, as it leads to instability of the family. With the family unit deteriorating, several social consequences assure.

University of Cincinnati researchers have found that firefighters have a much higher risk of developing certain cancers than people in other professions, reports the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences details the current information available about "...adverse human health effects of exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs)."

There is a "... concern that prenatal and childhood exposure to EDCs may be responsible for a variety of abnormalities in human sexuality, gender development and behaviors, reproductive capabilities, and sex ratios."
