Signs and Symptoms of Spinal Tumors

According to the Mayo Clinic, back pain, especially in the middle or lower back, is the most frequent symptom of both noncancerous (benign) and cancerous (malignant) spinal tumors.

The pain may be worse at night or on awakening. It also may spread beyond your spine to your hips, legs, feet or arms and may become more severe over time in spite of treatment.

Signs of Brain Cancer Depend on Tumor Size and Location

Symptoms of a brain tumor usually develop over time and their characteristics depend on the location and size of the tumor.

Locations include:

  • frontal lobe
  • parietal lobe
