Brain Injury

Traumatic Brain Injury has been in the news frequently. Seems our soldiers are coming back from the war with traumatic brain injury which is not evaluated nor treated. Supposedly, this lack of medical intervention is due to the relative newness of traumatic brain injury. In previous wars, soldiers would die. Now they live, thanks to quicker and better intervention on the field of war. However, the results of traumatic brain injury are long term too.
