Parkinson's Disease

Diagnosis & Testing

Diagnosing Parkinson's is not Easy, Especially in the Early Stages

A major problem in confirming a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease is that there is no definitive test for it.

An equally problematic issue is that the symptoms seldom show up in young people and may be missed because physicians aren't expecting them to be there. And in older patients, the symptoms may be dismissed as signs of aging.
