Medline Plus, part of the US National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health, has provided a comprehensive interactive tutorial explaining all aspects of macular degeneration. It is easy to use and highly informative.
The program either runs with the Macromedia Flash Player or the Adobe Reader. There are links to help you get and install these programs if you don't already have them.
If you are not sure if you have the Flash Player, try playing the tutorial and see if it works. You will be alerted if you don't have the proper software.
