According to American Cancer Society, the 4 basic types of treatment for women with uterine sarcoma are:
- surgery
- radiation therapy
- chemotherapy, and
- hormone therapy
A combination of these treatments may be used. The choice of treatment(s) will depend on the type and stage of the disease and the patient's overall medical condition. Complementary and alternative therapies are also available.
