I must say that Gout is one of the most painful and uncomfortable things I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
Dear old dad has had to deal with it as has my brother. Does anyone know if this is genetic or what the root causes are? I'm not sure if it's clear why it happens, but seems that a daily dose of allopurinol keeps the gout flare ups away from my big toe joints.
Any stories? I'd like to hear them.
